In the PbS QDs/Bi2O2Se hybrid photodetector, when PbS quantum dots, acting as Power donors, are photoexcited to an excited state, they are able to transfer their Power non-radiatively to Bi2O2Se through dipole–dipole interactions. This results in electrons during the valence band of Bi2O2Se to changeover to the conduction band. While in the PbS Q
